ShowMe Something Good

ShowMe Etsy is a group of local crafters and makers of handicrafts who have banded together in the interest of support and better sales. With more than 30 artisans working in the classic media of glass, jewelry, photography and illustration as well as newer fields such as eco-fashion (that's environmentally-friendly clothing and accessories), ShowMe Etsy hopes to offer something for everyone. To that end, a large contingent of the ShowMe regulars host Artropy today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Off Broadway (3509 Lemp Avenue; You can actually meet the people behind the Etsy accounts and engage them in conversation (the original Instant Messenger) about their crafts. Admission to Artropy is free, but keep in mind you'll need cash or your checkbook if you're going to buy anything.
