Singer/Songwriter Showcase - Dear Genre

Spine Bookstore Cafe Uploaded by Spine Indie Bookstore & Cafe
Dear Genre
Dear Genre is the stage name for Brasilian born musician André Cataldo. Cataldo started playing music at the age of five years old after a musically inclined Turkish born au pair noticed the natural rhythm he possessed & introduced him to the drums & guitar. Seldom defining his exact style, 'St. Louis Music Underground Indie Rock Podcast' describes previous works as “Dreamy shoe-gaze, contrasted at other points with some beautiful, jangly, almost country twee-pop, drone-y electronica with a Middle Eastern feel, & just flat out, bombastic rock, among many others”. Door: 6pm // Cover: $5
