Slide Party at the City Museum, St. Louis, May 21, 2008

The City Museum downtown hosted a free party on Wednesday night as a thank-you to the scores of petitioners who rallied (on the Internet, at least) to keep the museum/playground open. Rumors of the museum's possible closure due to injuries swirled for weeks before being stamped out at the party Wednesday night. Photos by Brent Holzapfel.
