Before she was the Wicked Witch of the West, she was Elphaba, a young woman whose green skin and magical powers made her an outcast, even in Oz. And the so-called "good witch" Glinda was Galinda, an ambitious and popular girl with suspect judgment. Wicked, Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman's popular musical adaptation of Gregory Maguire's novel, tells the tale of what happened between these rivals before Dorothy crashed Oz's party.
