Dan Martin
Dan Martin, cartoonist and designer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, joins us to talk on the art of editorial cartoons to go along with our latest exhibit, Lines with Power and Purpose: Editorial Cartoons. Martin is the sixth cartoonist to take up the pen and draw Weatherbird. Weatherbird is the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s mascot and has made a continuous appearance since 1901! This event is sure to delight as Martin gives guests a survey of cartooning in general and in St. Louis, including the Weatherbird, along with a live demonstration. Reservations and masks are required.
