Field House Museum Uploaded by fldhousemuseum
Dan Martin Presentation
Join us on Friday, January 14 at 11 am for a Speaker Series that is sure to draw in a crowd. Dan Martin, cartoonist and designer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, joins us to talk on the art of editorial cartoons to go along with our latest exhibit, "Lines with Power and Purpose: Editorial Cartoons." Martin is the sixth cartoonist to take up the pen and draw the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s mascot, Weatherbird. This event will delight as Martin gives guests a survey of cartooning in general and in St. Louis, including the Weatherbird, along with a live demonstration.
