St. Louis on Screen

Each year the Whitaker St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase hosts an abundance of local talent squeezed into a single weekend. A variety of films directed, produced, edited, written by or starring St. Louis artists will screen at the Tivoli Theatre (6350 Delmar Boulevard, University City) July 7 to July 12. The films range from full-length fiction features starring the likes of Eric Roberts to documentaries such as Joplin, Missouri: A Tornado Story. Tickets are $10 to $12 and can be purchased online or at the Tivoli box office. Some events are free, including select screenings, filmmaking seminars, post-screening Q&As with filmmakers and the closing-night awards party at Blueberry Hill’s Duck Room (6504 Delmar Boulevard, University City) on July 12.
