St. Louis Theater Circle Awards

St. Louis has a thriving theater scene, and tonight the people who make the whole thing go are celebrated at the St. Louis Theater Circle Awards. This third year of the program sees the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and the Muny leading in total nominations (23 and 21, respectively), but New Line Theatre's production of Bonnie & Clyde has the most individual nominations (9). Prior to the actual ceremony there's a red-carpet walk and interviews, and HEC televises the entire event live. The best part is that, come weekend, many of these performers and technical folks will be once again working on a new show: After all, theater is year-round in these parts.

7 p.m. Mon., Mar. 23. Center of Creative Arts (524 Trinity Avenue, University City; 314-725-6555 or www.facebook.com/thelouies). $15.
Mon., March 23, 7 p.m., 2015
