St. Louisans Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month [PHOTOS]

The St. Louis Vietnamese Community hosted the first-ever Vietnamese Culture Day in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, which runs from May 1 to May 31, at Tower Grove Park earlier this month on May 6.

This was an opportunity to make up for lost time and everyone showed support to one of the largest Asian American communities in St. Louis. This event allowed people to share history and heritage with many surrounding communities for a better understanding of each other’s differences. There were many activities including sharing foods, traditional games, music and an "Ao Dai" contest for kids.
