Attention crafters on a budget: The St. Louis Artists’ Guild wants to support your creativity, while you lend the students there a helping hand. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., stop by the art space, located at 2 Oak Knoll Park in Clayton (314-727-6266 or, for a rummage sale. Now, this isn’t your typical driveway deal with gaudy ‘70s canisters, ancient electronics and more-than-gently-used clothing. This event, dubbed De-Stash-O-Rama 2011, features stuff you can actually use, from art supplies to yarn and from books to paint brushes and more, all donated by other crafters. Proceeds from the sale will go toward a new darkroom at the guild, where the art of film photography lives on for all kinds of students -- who would totally appreciate it if you lent them a hand as you stocked up on the artsy stuff you need.
