While most folks are busy stringing popcorn for their holiday trees, Five (4317 Manchester Avenue) is popping it up as a dinner primer for its two consecutive Cinema Nights. On Tuesday, December 16, guests will be treated to Christmas Vacation, starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo, and on Wednesday, December 17, Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful Life, starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed, is shown. In addition to the popcorn, you can dine on a three-course dinner during the films, and your meal is complemented with the chef's selection of red or white wine. The nights start rolling at 7 p.m., and reservations are required, so call 314-535-5553 to claim your table. For more information visit www.fiveinthegrove.com; your dinner and a movie cost $35 per evening.
