The library is a place for quiet contemplation, pensive reflection and rejuvenated circulation — and we’re not just talking about the newspapers! At 7 p.m. the Cliff Cave branch of the St. Louis County Library (5430 Telegraph Road; www.slcl.org) hosts Yoga for Everyone!, an event that introduces people to the history of yoga, its benefits (including the aforementioned improved circulation) and its techniques. Leave your restrictive clothing and your money at home — this instructional session is free — but bring along a mat, towel or pillow (the flatter, the better) and an open mind. Yoga truly is for everyone, as long as you’re in a yoga state of mind. Registration is required to participate in the program; call 314-487-6003 to save your spot.
