Student Film Exposed

Is the next Luis Buñuel, Kenneth Anger or Uwe Boll already lurking in St. Louis? Tomorrow's filmmakers are working today on the Webster University campus, casting, shooting and cutting their own feature films, documentaries and video art. To commemorate Webster University's Inaugural Week, the Webster Film Series will celebrate these homegrown films for six straight nights, and all of St. Louis is invited to take in the show. The Webster University Faculty, Students and Alumni Film & Video Showcase presents the cinematic efforts of your friends and neighbors with free screenings at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday (September 21 through 26) in Webster University's Moore Auditorium (470 East Lockwood Avenue; 314-968-7487 or www.webster.edu/filmseries).
