Sunset Salutation

What better way to let Monday dissolve into the humdrum of the workweek than breathing deep outdoors and stretching sky-high in the fading sun? Yoga in the Park happens every Monday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Concordia Park across from Kaldi’s Coffeehouse (Northwood and DeMun avenues, Clayton) through the end of September. Bring a towel, a blanket or your sticky mat, and for now, leave the bug spray at home. The yoga sessions are open-level — friendly to the beginner shy of being off-balance (blame it on a bump in the earth) and welcoming to long-time students of yoga who want to take their practice out of the stillness of the studio for a change. Instructor Mike Elliff (314-412-9867) offers the bargain price of $8 and all the benefits of a typical Hatha class — but in the open air. Breathe deep.
Mondays. Starts: May 22. Continues through Sept. 25
