Presented by PNC Arts Alive, Talkin' Trash is a world-premiere play that tells the story of a young boy obsessed with trash and recycling. After his dad loses his job, Sam moves to a rundown neighborhood next door to an elderly woman struggling with compulsive hoarding. When the neighborhood kids pressure Sam to betray her trust, their unlikely friendship is put to the test. Talkin' Trash brings to focus issues of: • The environment and recycling • Mental health • Our relationship with the elderly • Friendship • Unemployment Recommended for adults & children age 5 & up.
