The Lemp Mansion
3322 DeMenil Place

Easily one of the most haunted places in town, the Lemp Mansion is so known for its paranormal activity that the building frequenly hosts murder mystery dinners and haunted tours. But it's the uninvited guests that keep the place interesting. The staff can tell you all about the history of the Lemp family and the many deaths, suicides and scandals that have taken place on the property.

Exorcist House
located in Bel-Nor, a suburb of St. Louis

If you've seen The Exorcist, you have a general idea of the evil that happened in this house. It was a movie based off of a book of the true tale of a posessed 14-year-old boy. This was where he lived.

Alexian Brothers Hospital site
3933 South Broadway

The wing where they treated the kid from The Exorcist has since been torn down, but it was right around this corner on South Broadway. The exorcism was performed on these grounds.

Bellefontaine Cemetery
4947 West Florissant Avenue

Mysterious white fogs are said to move around some headones at Bellefontaine, sometimes even in the broad daylight. Many believe these are ghostly figures returning to their own graves or those of their loved ones. Many victims from the cholera epidemic were buried here and it's said the died so quickly that their souls are not at rest.

Calvary Cemetery & Mausoleum
5239 West Florissant Avenue

The "Ghost on the Hill" at Calvary Cemetery is one paranormal tale that has endured for years. It's said that often when driving by Calvary Cemetery if you look up you will see a ghost standing on top of a hill on the southeast corner overlooking the road.

This is where you can find one of the most notorious ghosts in town: Hitchhike Annie. Discribed as a woman with long dark hair and wearing a white dress, Annie is said to flag you down for a ride, only to disappear once she gets into your car.

The Bissell Mansion
4426 Randall Place

Built in 1823 by Captain Lewis Bissell, this house is said to be haunted by its original owner, who is said to be seen out in the parking lot frequently keeping watch over the house.

Zombie Road
Rock Hollow Trail, Wildwood

This trail alongside Ridge Road is said to be haunted AF. The frequently foggy area is said to be the former site of a loner who lived in the woods and would attack young couples looking for a lovers' lane. It's also supposedly the former site of an orphanage and is also haunted by a woman who was hit and killed by a train. If you drive this road at night, you will believe it all.

Lafayette Square Neighborhood
South City

The Great Cyclone of May 1896 hit this area hard, causing multitudes of disasters in the area. One of the deadliest most damaging tornados in history, 255 people were killed in the area. It's said that there are many ghosts that roam the streets of Lafayette Squre and the hallways of these old houses trying to figure out what happened to their lives.

The Lion's House in Soulard
1126 Sidney Street

Looking in the windows from outside this house feels creepy and nobody really knows why. There are reports that inside poltergeists move objects around but never cause too much trouble. Still, something just seems off at this place.
