The Annie Malone May Day Parade stepped off on Market Street downtown for its 112th year on Sunday, May 15. The parade, which was sponsored by Nike and Midwest BankCentre, featured area marching bands, nonprofit organizations and fancy cars. Due to the pandemic, this is the first time the parade has been in person in two years, so people turned out in droves to enjoy the spectacle and spend the day downtown.
