The Beggar's New Year's Eve Ball 

Burlesque, Vaudeville and variety performers come together for an unforgettable night of thrills and fun. The Beggar's Carnivale shuts off the lights on 2011 with an army of burlesque stars, musical performers (Seattle's Armitage Shanks) and the charms of the Beggar's Alley's dancers, sideshow performers and carnival games. Plus, a Champagne toast at midnight followed by a breakfast buffet, all at the beautiful Casa Loma Ballroom (3354 Iowa Avenue; Doors open at 9 p.m. and the wheels fall off at 3 a.m. Tickets are $59 per person.
