“The Drowning Girls” (by Beth Graham, Daniela Vlaskalic, and Charlie Tomlinson) launches Fourth Wall Down’s ‘Installation’ series, in which innovative gallery artforms are melded directly to the mechanism of theatric storytelling. Themes of female agency, cycles of abuse, dualism, and what lies beyond the ‘vail’ will mirror and mesh between a locally curated “pop-up” gallery, and the intricate set. 100% of proceeds from the first two shows will go to A.L.I.V.E. STL, a local women’s advocacy group, with donations collected throughout the run. *Presented under the auspices of Actors Equity Association, the national union for actors and stage managers.
