The Fling's The Thing

Who couldn't use a good fling? Especially a FAN-tabulous Fling presented by the Gateway Men's Chorus that will lead you on a photo scavenger hunt, Amazing Race-style, through St. Louis. Fill a car with five folks, pay $125 ($25 for loners in need of a team), and get on your mark, get set and go at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 22. Meet on the fourth floor of the Centene Center for Arts and Education (3547 Olive Street; www.gmcstl.org) for check-in and to sign your required waiver, then scramble through the city equipped with complimentary snacks and sodas, props and a list of treasures to photograph and upload (at least one person per team should have a camera phone with Internet access). Return to the Centene Center at 9 p.m., where a panel of celebrity judges will award cash and prizes to the scavengers, followed by an after-party with DJ Ritchie Van Stubbs, free appetizers from Hartford Coffee Co. and lots of cocktails. All proceeds go to the Gateway Men's Chorus.
