The Magic Science Bus

Had Doc Brown used his time-traveling DeLorean to explore the Triassic period, the solar system or the ocean floor, maybe he'd have found a companion in Ms. Frizzle, the ambitious science teacher behind the wheel of children's book series, The Magic School Bus. Learn from his mistake and follow Ms. Frizzle's science class to the Magic House (516 South Kirkwood Road, Kirkwood; 314-822-8900 or www.magichouse.org), which hosts the interactive exhibit The Magic School Bus Kicks Up a Storm. The family-friendly fun offers a seat on the school bus as it travels through all kinds of weather, explains the scientific methods behind weather prediction, and provides a detailed look at weather tools, maps, graphs and more. The Magic School Bus Kicks Up a Storm is on display Tuesday through Sunday (February 9 through May 27), and is free with regular admission ($9.50).
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Feb. 9. Continues through May 27, 2013
