The Other Guys Premiere with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg

The red carpet was rolled out for the arrival of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg at Wehrenberg's Chesterfield Galaxy 14 Cinema last night. The stars were in town for "The Other Premiere of The Other Guys," a fan-oriented movie premiere that St. Louis won via Facebook. The event also featured local celebrities such as Mayor Francis Slay and Ozzie Smith, as well as a surprise appearance from the legendary boxing promoter Don King and a NFL-sized Buddy Elf. Fans of all types were on hand for the celebrity antics.
Fans brought all sorts of things for The Other Guys to sign - everything from Marky Mark memorabilia to Will Ferrell DVD cases.
Fans turned out by the hundreds (thousands?) to greet Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.
Home-made signs littered the sea of fans - "Mark, say "hello" to your mother for me!" was an obvious favorite quote.
The St. Louis Rams' new mascot, Rampage the Ram, performed flips for the crowd before other celebrities arrived on the red carpet.

Wahlberg and Ferrell took fan questions before the premiere - Wahlberg was asked on a date, and Ferrell was asked about his favorite lines from his movies.
Ferrell wanted to know what it'd feel like to be tackled by an NFL player - even a Ram in an elf suit. Luckily, there wasn't enough room onstage for a full-on tackle.
