The Phone Rings for Thee

How is life in the matrix working for you lately? Getting passed over for promotions? Experiencing a lot of deja vu? Lacking live music to go along with your favorite film watching? You can get some help with that last one, at least, thanks to the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra's concerts this weekend. Head to Powell Symphony Hall (718 North Grand Boulevard) at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday (April 5 and 6) to watch the 1999 sci-fi thriller The Matrix as the symphony plays the movie's Don Davis score live. You can even don your sleekest, blackest black clothes for the look-alike contest, and pose for Matrix-y pics in the lobby before the show! Tickets for the mind-freeing, spoon-bending experience cost $35 to $75 and are available at www.stlsymphony.org. Go ahead and buy them now -- the Oracle knows you'll be there.
