This sci-fi drama from the late 1950s presents a message that was far ahead of its time as it tells the tale of an enormous alien brain that sequesters itself in a cavern and from there uses telepathy to control the children of American nuclear missile scientists. It compels the young ones to give strong anti-nuclear messages to their parents who are busy preparing to send an atom bomb into space. Unfortunately, the parents are too absorbed to listen to the pacifist claptrap of their children. This causes the brain and the kids to try a stronger tack.~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
