The Sunshine Is Out Tonight

Haven’t seen Little Miss Sunshine? For not much more than a DVD rental fee, you can enjoy the film on a big screen tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the trusty Moore Auditorium on the campus of Webster University (470 East Lockwood Avenue). LMS is a hilarious movie about a child with a wish to win the “Little Miss Sunshine” contest and her family’s road trip to get her there. The film itself won two Oscars, and the wheezy VW bus, which was featured so prominently in the movie, should’ve garnered it a third -- for Best Motor Vehicle in a Supporting Role. Tickets for the screening are $5 to $6; call 314-968-7487 or visit www.webster.edu/filmseries for more information.
