The "T" Is Pronounced

In "Carondelet"

This first Sunday of June marks a migration to the southernmost St. Louis city neighborhood, Carondelet. So join the twelfth annual Carondelet House & Garden Tour, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Carondelet Community Betterment Federation Inc. office at 6408 Michigan Avenue. Although it was annexed to the city of St. Louis in 1870, this neighborhood began thriving nearly 100 years earlier and continues to develop today. Check out restored homes, renovated commercial buildings, luscious private gardens and even the historic Sisters of St. Joseph convent. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the tour and are available at the starting location. For more information visit or call 314-752-6339.
