The Wood

This Maplewood spot for food and music, situated on Sutton Boulevard just south of Manchester Road, offers patrons a good-size menu filled with the usual bar food, sandwiches, burgers, salads and pizzas. Pizzas at the Wood are brick-oven-baked, twelve inches in diameter and come with a number of toppings available, including bacon, sausage, portobella mushrooms and ground turkey. The Wood also offers specialty pizzas, such as a veggie, meat lover's and chicken wings, which comes with grilled chicken and a spicy sauce. Other dining options include toasted ravioli, homemade chili, chicken strips and a few different burger options, such as a turkey burger or the "black-and-blue" burger, a half-pound patty topped with blue cheese and bacon. The Wood also features various bands on most weekend nights, as well as DJs.
