These Infernal Holidays

Holiday crush threatening to drag you to hell? Show it up by getting there first. Check out Oh Hell!, R-S Theatrics' season-ending double bill of one-act plays with a hellish theme. David Mamet's "Bobby Gould in Hell" brings back the movie studio executive from Speed-the-Plow after he's died and subjects him to a devilish interrogation, while Shel Silverstein's "The Devil and Billy Markham" is an epic poem about a blues musician who makes ill-advised wagers with Old Scratch. Oh Hell! is performed at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday (December 6 through 15) at Southampton Presbyterian Church (4715 Macklind Avenue; 314-456-0071 or www.r-stheatrics.com). Tickets are $12 to $20.
Fridays-Sundays. Starts: Dec. 6. Continues through Dec. 15, 2013
