This Year, Why Not Something Flat?

Isn't it nice to look around your home and like what you have up on the walls? Not sure? Well, it is. You need pretty, interesting things at which to look whilst deciding whether to shower or watch more Netflix. It just so happens that this is exactly why the wonderful print shops lining Cherokee Street have banded together again this year for the Cherokee Print League sale. Local favorites Firecracker Press (2838 Cherokee Street), All Along Press (2712 Cherokee Street), and STL-Style (with Lighthouse Print & Design, at 3159 Cherokee Street) have plenty of printed art goodies to offer, along with lesser-known gems such as exquisite wallpaper designers Porter Teleo (3323 Cherokee Street), letterpress cute-factory collaborators Paper Boat Studios (2308 Cherokee Street), and participating galleries Snowflake (3156 Cherokee Street) and Fort Gondo Compound For the Arts (3151 Cherokee Street). Firecracker Press even has an option for custom stationery (bunnies and snowflakes, hello!). Plus, catch Sleepy Kitty at Foam (3359 South Jefferson Avenue) to grab one of their prints and a hot toddy. The sale lasts the better part of the day, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and admission is free -- but you're going to need to bring some payment options if you want something, obviously. For more information, visit or call All Along Press at 314-827-6185.
