Emmy Award winning storyteller Bobby Norfolk brings to life the story of York, slave to William Clark, as these brave men encounter both dangers and wonders on the Lewis & Clark Expedition. In this program Bobby examines the role of York as the only man of color, and how he was treated like a free man on the expedition, and then returned to slavery back in St. Louis. Talk back on St. Louis history follows the show. Free drinks and refreshments. Performance set in a beautiful theater with ballroom that is being renovated.
