Tim Reynolds

Friday, July 15; Finale (8020 Bonhomme Avenue, Clayton)

It's 1998. Do you know where Tim Reynolds is? For the majority of music listeners, the answer is no. It wasn't until January 1999's Live at Luther College -- a concert album featuring Reynolds accompanying Dave Matthews -- that even the most savvy of modern music enthusiasts added him to their guitar-aficionado vernacular. It took having his name next to Matthews' to find his voice -- or rather, to find an audience for his voice. The past five years have found Reynolds wallowing not only in original output but sold-out live performances. His instrumental range is seemingly as limitless as his prowess, which spans bass, piano, sitar, mandolin and violin. He never shorts his audiences on wonder, leaving mouth after mouth gaping wide in appreciation of his technical skill.

Shows start at 7:30 and 10 p.m. Tickets are $15; call 314-863-8631 for more information.
