Tips for Tots

Give generously, dine graciously

Fine dining and wallet-lightening go hand in hand tonight from 5 to 11:30 p.m. as Celebrity Waiters & Waitresses Night comes to Monarch (7401 Manchester Road, Maplewood). More than 50 recognizable people, including Tim Ezell (pictured, from KTVI-TV, Channel 2, as if you didn't know) and Heidi Glaus (from KSDK-TV, Channel 5), will be waiting on you to score a big tip for the benefit of the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery. Diners can also expect double-take-inducing celebrity impersonators and a raffle, whose proceeds go to Crisis Nursery, an organization devoted to battling child abuse in the St. Louis area. Reservations are required, so call 314-644-3995; in the event of a full house, you can still attend the after-party at Jive & Wail from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. For more information visit www.crisisnurserykids.org.
