Tractors Chug

Are ya listenin'?

Holiday entertaining can be tough. With all of the planning, recipe-hunting and -testing, cleaning, shopping and decorating, it's hard to even enjoy the party once it finally rolls around! Instead of working so hard and worrying so much this year, invite nineteen family members and friends to join you on an Urban Hayride around Forest Park. The rides depart from Faulkner Drive and Clayton Road and travel through the park for 45 minutes. Upon returning to the area near the Science Center, your guests will warm up by the roaring bonfire, and they'll roast the marshmallows and hot dogs you've provided. Now that's an easy menu! And the hayrides cost only $100 per wagon. (Five bucks per person is a steal, considering what an effortless holiday celebration this is!) Several tractor-pulled chariots leave between 7 and 8:20 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights through December 9, and reservations are required. To save a carriage for you and yours, call 314-289-5330; for more information visit stlouis.missouri.org/citygov/parks/forestpark.
Fridays, Saturdays. Starts: Dec. 1. Continues through Dec. 9
