Uno, Dos, Tres, Exercise!

Another Christmas, another Christmas belly for Ms. Day. 'Twas the season of good eats, alas, but 'tis the season for exercise, moderation and fitting into those pants again. Day is determined and committed to fitness, yes, but not so much so that she will be stepping on the treadmill — those boredom machines just won't work out for her! No, she needs a more enlivened exercise experience, like that offered with the Ay Caramba! Girls Night Out fitness classes, held at the Center of Creative Arts (524 Trinity Avenue, University City; 314-725-6555). This four-week series with instructor Noelle Lopez will bring elements of salsa, merengue and more to Day's (and your) movement, helping everyone sweat and shake off inches while listening to Latin music. Um, yeah, that's way better than walking in place. To spice up your routine alongside Day, register for the session at; enrolling costs $65, and classes are held from 7:15 to 8:10 p.m. every Wednesday from January 13 through February 3.
