Untamed Evenings

It's true that a few migrate northward to help Santa with his many duties, but truth told, you'll find a lot more of our fine-feathered fowl at the illuminating Penguin & Puffin Coast, which will be shining bright during the Saint Louis Zoo's Wild Lights celebration. Plenty of activities and attractions are planned, including fireside storytelling, puppet shows and live performances by local choirs. The Wild Lights are on display from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday (November 26 through December 24), and then daily from Sunday, December 26, through Thursday, December 30, at the Saint Louis Zoo in Forest Park (314-781-0900 or Admission is $5, with an extra charge for the Glacier Run and Conservation Carousel.
