The Webster Film Series ( brings back the true spirit of the holiday with A Classic Christmas: From The 1950s Television! This grab bag of classic holiday episodes includes Betty White in A Date With the Angels, A Howdy Doody Christmas and an episode of The Jack Benny Program in which Mel Blanc and Rochester go Christmas shopping. It's perfect fare for fans of ironic, ugly Christmas sweaters, those who truly love their grandparents and TV addicts of all ages. The programs screen at 7:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday (December 23 through 25) at the Moore Auditorium on Webster University's campus (470 East Lockwood Avenue; 314-968-7487 or Tickets are $4 to $6.
