Riverside, California's Voodoo Glow Skulls have been together for nearly two decades. But instead of falling back on its hits, the band continues to release new material with remarkable efficiency in fact, the upcoming full-length Southern California Street Music sounds just as relevant as the band's classic '90s catalog material. In concert, expect to see seven guys including a full horn section sweating their faces off and inspiring un-ironic skanking via its unique blend of ska, punk and metal. Admittedly, we still think it's going to be a while until ska's next revival, but thankfully the Voodoo Glow Skulls are still around to remind us that there's an antithesis to Reel Big Fish.
