Lisa Kron intends to address an audience on the twinned issues of health and illness. In the lived-in front room of her childhood home, she attempts to discuss the nature of a malady she believes runs in her family, and the changing demographics of the neighborhood in which she grew up. Lisa does not intend for her mother, who suffers from the family disease and was instrumental in reshaping the neighborhood, to have much bearing on the telling. But Ann Kron is not going to sit there and quietly observe as her daughter fudges facts and alters the past, even if it's in the interests of making a better play.
