We're Ready to Believe You

For years, Dan Akroyd and director Ivan Reitman have been trying to claw Ghostbusters 3 out of development hell, but rumor has it that one thing stands in the way: Bill Murray, and his reluctance to resume bustin'. Murray has managed to maintain a respectable career as an actor, transitioning from beloved films such as Caddyshack and Stripes to critically acclaimed roles in Lost In Translation and the film (sic) of Wes Anderson. Meanwhile, Akroyd has punished audiences with the likes of Caddyshack 2, Blues Brothers 2000 and countless talk show appearances shilling Crystal Head Vodka. Relive the glory days of their comedic partnership, when the original Ghostbusters screens at the B&B Wildwood 10 Theater (16820 Main Street, Wildwood; 636-456-9032 or www.bbtheatres.com) tonight at 7 p.m. And best of all, admission to this one-night-only Halloween Retro Night presentation of Ghostbusters is just $5.
