Whiskey and Rhymes

All in the name of hip-hop

Mixing break dancing with Jack Daniel's might seem like a concussion concoction — and it would be if you were going to be breaking it down — but, fortunately, you will not be asked to perform this evening at the Jack Daniel's Art, Beats & Lyrics event at the Moto Museum (3441 Olive Street). Instead, dear reader, you will be in a most perfect position: You will get to watch break dancers, sip on some drinks, and check out graffiti art and other styles of work by non-locals and St. Louisans alike (including Jovan Hansman and Justin Tolentino). Plus, DJ Needles is joined on the decks by DJs from Atlanta, and the Afro-beat band Common Ground Collective performs as well. Admission to the urban art exhibition and night of performances and partying is free, but you must RSVP at The fun happens from 7 p.m. to midnight.
