After a wildly successful event last year, two of St. Louis' strangest and notable 'zines brought back the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Kat Fest for round two on July 25, 2014, at the Livery Company. Acid Kat and Freezerburn welcomed punk and noise acts Animal Teeth, Bad Dates, Vanilla Beans, Trauma Harness and more for the first of two days celebrating and sharing 'zines such as SHiT ZINE, Dead Weight and Shitty River Comics. The event fielded all kinds of mayhem, including the sudden removal of a cast via garden shears and assaulting a wall with a potato gun. The festival continues July 26.
