World Cup o' Beer!

Still reeling from the defeat of his Arsenal Gunners in the Champions League final, Mr. Night has decided upon a two-prong plan to assuage his pain. Prong one: Watch the World Cup religiously. Prong two: Drink the bad feelings away. Tip of the cap toward the Schlafly Tap Room (2100 Locust Street; 314-241-2337 or for making both prongs accessible in one building (note to self: Stop saying "prong"). From Friday, June 9, through Sunday, July 9, all World Cup matches will be televised in the Tap Room's north bar. ESPN Radio broadcasts directly from the bar during the contest. Admission is free, beer is available in many styles, and the ass in the Gunners jersey promises to stop moaning disconsolately at some point.
