World Premiere of English-subtitled Romanian film VERONICA

Event includes FREE Romanian food courtesy of Blip Blap Video! Although this bizarre work of genius from renowned Romanian fantasy director Elisabeta Bostan is the most popular children’s film in the history of Romanian cinema, Veronica has rarely been screened outside of Eastern Europe. This screening is the world premiere of the film’s first English subtitled version, created by Brian McClelland of St. Louis-based Blip Blap Video (and translated by Sabina Sabau and Mona Sabau), who created this subtitled version in hopes of introducing the film to audiences outside of Romania.
