Year-End Quiz Answers and Winners

Our end-of-the-year quiz ["The 2010 RFT News Challenge," by Chad Garrison] drew an incredible response from news junkies vying for the high score and its promised prize — including an attempt at bribery.

Yep, loyal RFT reader Don Weber actually sent us a photo of his lover, her naughty bits covered only by back issues of this newspaper, along with a $5 bill. Now, as Weber explained (somewhat defensively, we thought!), he wasn't really trying to bribe us.

"We merely wish to say thank you for a year of laughs and outstanding reporting," he wrote. "We also wish to make it clear that we could be more thankful if required." Are we reading this incorrectly, or did one of our readers actually offer to service us sexually?

Anyway, we were sufficiently pleased by this rare show of gratitude that we'll be sending Weber (and his lover) the prize for this year's honorable mention. Personally selected by art director Tom Carlson, we promise it will be suitably...naughty...for this intrepid duo.

Proving, however, that victory cannot be bought, we're pleased to offer first place to readers Tim Day and Amber Schlueter, who each achieved perfect scores on this year's quiz. Congratulations, Tim and Amber! Click on the image at right for a larger version of the answer key.
