Restore your faith when Alberto Friedmann offers a demonstration in martial arts at the Saint Louis Science Center's Montgomery Bank Exploradome (5050 Oakland Avenue; 314-289-4400 or from 2 to 3 p.m. Friedmann has overcome the degenerative joint disease Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome — when diagnosed, he was told he would spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair — to become a black belt in three disciplines, as well as World Games gold medalist and head coach of the U.S. National Martial Arts team. Admission to the demo is free.
