Dancing With the Stars Season 34 Cast Announced

It’s September, and that means it’s time for sequins, heels, and drama. That’s right, Dancing With the Stars is back for Season 34, y’all! The glitter budget alone is off the charts, because after 34 seasons, the producers have figured out how to keep us hooked. The cast list has been announced, and holy smokes, this is going to be one wild ride. Olympians. Influencers. Nostalgia bait. And yes, a few names I had to Google to remember who on earth they were.

Season 34 is set to premiere live on ABC and Disney+ on September 16th, 2025. You can also catch it the next day on Hulu. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will be hosting, so you can join me in crossing your fingers and hoping that we get another flash of “The Carlton.”

Speaking of nostalgic flashbacks, this year’s celebrity lineup is packed with plenty of names that’ll have you remembering your childhood faves with fondness. Dancing this year, we have:

  • Robert Irwin — honoring his late dad Steve Irwin, and the crocodiles are watching.

  • Elaine Hendrix — Meredith from The Parent Trap might finally get her redemption arc.

  • Danielle Fishel — Topanga from Boy Meets World, aka your childhood crush in heels.

  • Corey Feldman — ‘80s nostalgia bait, and I’m so here for it.

  • Baron Davis — NBA legend trading basketball sneakers for ballroom shoes.

  • Jordan Chiles — Olympic gymnast, meaning everyone else’s core strength just cried.

  • Alix Earle — TikTok’s “hot mess” podcast princess, proving influencers can also cha-cha.

  • Scott Hoying — Pentatonix star, probably already harmonizing with himself mid-rumba.

  • Hilaria Baldwin — teaching yoga and dodging paparazzi on live TV.

  • Lauren Jauregui — Fifth Harmony singer ready to samba solo.

  • Jen Affleck (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives) — ready to turn reality TV into even more reality TV.

  • Dylan Efron — yes, Zac’s brother, yes, he’s hot. Yes, I checked twice.

  • Whitney Leavitt — another Mormon Wives star, because ABC loves doubling down.

How will the stars fare? That’s up to the judges. Your favorites are all returning, so get ready to welcome Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough back to the floor. Bruno’s “volume setting” will still probably be stuck at 11, and odds are Derek’s already plotting out the TikTok tutorials for the dances.

Last year, Joey Graziadei won the whole shebang and set the bar so high that it’s probably still orbiting Saturn. This year’s cast is packed with talent, and I don’t just mean everyone’s favorite obvious contender (Jordan Chiles). Robert Irwin has big fan-favorite energy, Dylan Efron is bound to get a few thirst votes if nothing else, and Elaine Hendrix? She was a professional dancer for years. Vegas odds are crying, the fighting amongst fans on Twitter is already very real, and we haven’t even seen the paso doble yet.

Whether you’re here for the stunts, the sequins, or the inevitable scandals, Season 34 promises to be an epic season. So. Get your dancing shoes and find your glitter eyeliner. It’s ballroom time.
