Housed in a building that resembles a residence or perhaps a school, the West County outpost of Tucker’s Place offers up similar options to its Soulard sister. The unpretentious setting and affordable prices allow carnivores to get their steak fix without breaking the bank. Each location — there are three total — serves up filets, sirloins, strips and porterhouse. There is also a pizza menu for those not in the mood for steak. Tucker’s also has a variety of specials, including “prime time Tuesday,” which offers diners either a 16 or 24-ounce prime rib for $14.95 or $18.95, respectively.
