The queen of Fenty and the prince of Harlem have welcomed a new princess! Singer Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have welcomed their third child, and first daughter together. Rocki Irish Mayers was born on September 13th, 2025, and the couple could not be happier to have this baby girl join the family.
Baby Rocki’s parents are a power couple whose love story has had a global impact. Rihanna’s a global music icon, a beauty mogul, a financially savvy entrepreneur, and an all-around unstoppable force. A$AP Rocky is a rapper, a style icon, and the internet’s poster child for what it means to be a supportive partner. Seriously, have you ever seen footage of this man where he isn’t gushing about Rihanna and their kids every chance he gets? It’s just the most precious. They’ve been together since about 2020, and have had a firm grasp on power-couple status ever since.
The pair have now welcomed three children to the world, all of whom have a first name that begins with “R” to match their parents. RZA was their first child, born in May of 2022, then Riot arrived in August of 2023. With Rocki joining the party this year (2025), the family is now up to five members in the Mayers circle. Each and every one of those family members is lucky af, because having a mom (or partner) as strong as Rihanna? She kept performing, attending galas, launching products, and serving face on the red carpet through all three pregnancies without seeming to miss a single beat. Like. Damn, I complain and try to stay in bed if the floor is just a titch too cold in the morning, and Rihanna’s out here like, “I can do all this and grow a human too.” Queen.
The thing that I personally find the sweetest about the happy news of baby Rocki’s birth is that earlier this year, A$AP Rocky made public comments about “praying for a baby girl.” The couple was clearly excited about welcoming another member to their family, regardless of gender, but the anticipation and the hope for a daughter were clearly evident in A$AP Rocky’s eyes in interviews where he was heard saying that this pregnancy “felt different.” Sometimes manifesting works, especially if your partner is Rihanna.
Rocki’s arrival made international news once her parents were ready to share her with the world. She entered the world on September 13th, healthy and loved by a family that couldn’t wait to hold her. The Instagram birth announcement featured Rihanna cradling her new baby girl, all decked out in pink, with a tiny pair of pink boxing gloves in the frame, and yes, I melted. Fans have been gushing over her name. Not only does “Rocki” follow the “R” pattern, but it’s a sweet nod to a father who is over the moon about being a girl dad.
So what’s next for the Fenty family? Well, hopefully they get to spend some extended quality time together, bonding and learning how to be a family of five. Big brothers RZA and Riot get to learn how to be big brothers to a baby sister, and the rest of us can make predictions about when we might get to see Rihanna’s toddler streetwear line drop. …Ok, that might just be me being hopeful, but please, Rihanna? I have a small niece, and big Cool Aunt dreams.
Regardless of whether or not that toddler clothing line happens, I think we can all send our warmest well-wishes to the whole family, tip our hats to Rihanna for navigating another pregnancy with grace, and wish her the most peaceful rest and recovery period now that she’s safely delivered her girl.
