*Juliette Commagere, The Procession Commagere, who's previously provided vocals for Hello Stranger and The Bird and the Bee, releases her second solo album today. According to Frantikmag.com, the new album "fuses her love for classical music with dreamy electronic soundscapes and her seductive vocals," and One-Track-Mind calls Procession "one to watch out for." *Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger, Acoustic Sessions The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger is the latest project from Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl. This is a good album for fans of Lennon's father, according to Snobsmusic.net: "I've never heard the influence in his music before, but this is as close as Lennon has ever sounded to his father. *Kermit Ruffins, Happy Talk The Associated Press review calls the Treme contributor's new album "infectious." "Go ahead, just try and listen to New Orleans trumpeter Kermit Ruffins' latest release without moving -- no foot tapping, finger snapping or head nodding. A plate of red beans and rice says you can't do it. Happy Talk cheerfully marches, swings and bops listeners through classic covers and original tunes, led all the way by Ruffins' distinctively brassy bravado." *Taylor Swift, Speak Now Swift celebrated the release of Speak Now with a meet-and-greet and concert in New York that was streamed online yesterday. The LA Times review sang Swift's praises: "The musical range of Speak Now expands beyond country-pop to border both alternative rock and the dirty bubblegum pop promulgated by such producers as Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald. Little spoken asides pepper some songs, signifying hipness; on others, Swift lays claim to several genres' worth of signatures, from the lush strings of Céline-style kitsch-pop to Americana banjo to countrypolitan electric guitar. She surveys this wide ground without bluster; she never poses. Conquering new territory, she acts like it's simply what's expected of her." *Warpaint, The Fool Crawdaddy reviewed the group's debut record, saying "Often cited for their mixture of post-punk energy and psychedelic embellishment, The Fool finds Warpaint enjoying crisper production than their auspicious and comparatively au naturel 2009 debut EP, Exquisite Corpse, and indulging more in club-friendly electronic flourishes, thankfully without any sacrifice of focus on their proficiency with actual instruments. It may be a pop record first and foremost, although it does hint at a consciousness beyond, especially through the moments of bold exiguity that bring it all together, such as the halcyon acoustic 'Baby.'"
