No Butts About It: The Pageant's Going Non-Smoking This Summer

On July 1, the Pageant will become a non-smoking venue, according to a note on its official website and Twitter feed. The adjacent Halo Bar will still allow smoking -- that is, if you're over 21. The Pageant's ban goes into effect six months before smoking is officially barred in St. Louis City, on January 1, 2011. The venue joins music establishments such as Off Broadway, Mangia Italiano, Pop's and Atomic Cowboy as those who have already banned.
